Connect your Instagram account

Link a Business or Creator account so Tendrify can read and reply for you.

Automations, the inbox, and IG Shield all need a connected Instagram account. You'll need an Instagram Business or Creator account — a personal account won't work with Instagram's API.

  1. 1In Instagram, make sure your account is set to Business or Creator (Settings → Account type).
  2. 2In Tendrify, go to Settings → Instagram → Connect Instagram.
  3. 3Log in with Instagram and approve the requested permissions.
  4. 4You'll be redirected back with your account connected.

Any Business or Creator account can connect. If it fails, the account is usually still Personal — switch it to Professional in the Instagram app, then try again.

If automations stop firing after working before, reconnect Instagram here — it re-subscribes the webhooks.
