Fix an automation that isn't firing

A checklist for when your flow isn't sending replies.

If a flow isn't responding, work through these in order — one of them is almost always the cause.

  1. 1Confirm the flow's Status is on.
  2. 2Check your keyword matches — or enable 'Any keyword'.
  3. 3Make sure the right post/reel is selected (or 'All posts').
  4. 4Verify Instagram is connected in Settings → Instagram.
  5. 5If it worked before and stopped, reconnect Instagram so webhooks re-subscribe.
  6. 6Remember any cooldown you set won't re-trigger for the same person until the timer resets.

Instagram's 24-hour messaging window matters too — you can only DM someone within 24 hours of their interaction.
