Create a comment-to-DM automation

Reply in the DMs whenever someone comments a keyword on your post or reel.

This is the classic 'comment GUIDE and I'll DM you the link' funnel. When someone comments your keyword, Tendrify sends them a DM automatically.

  1. 1Open Automations and create a new flow with a Comment trigger.
  2. 2Select the post or reel to watch (or choose all posts).
  3. 3Set up your keywords, or turn on 'Any keyword' to reply to every comment.
  4. 4Add a public comment reply (optional) so others see you responded.
  5. 5Add the DM response — an opening message, buttons, or a lead form.
  6. 6Turn the flow's Status on and save.

Instagram only lets you DM someone within 24 hours of their interaction. A comment opens that window, so send the DM promptly.
